I never thought I would have a blog

The title explains it all. I never thought I would become a blogger, but earlier today I decided I needed to have a bucket list. Well maybe not need, but my friend Liv and I thought creating a list would be fun. I sat at my computer for an entire hour thinking of everything I want to do, and accomplish in my life, however long it may be. I came up with only 32, and coincidentally number 20 was start a blog. So there you have it, I started this blog only because I am determined to finish everything on this list.
Oh yes, and here's that list

My Bucket List

1. Hang out with Jon Foreman.
2. Go to Africa on a Missions Trip.
3. Backpack in Europe
4. Ride the Ferris wheel in the NYC Toys R Us. √
5. Skinny Dip in a Waterfall.
6. See Coldplay in concert
7. See U2 in concert.
8. Learn Guitar.
9. Go to Hawaii, and pretend I’m on lost.
10. Become a ballroom dancer
11. Successfully bake crème-brulee
12. See a meteor shower
13. Go back to Los Angeles and find Quincey, Melick, and Devon to see how they are doing.
14. Go camping with a huge group of friends.
15. Fall in love.
16. Get married.
17. Master the wookie call (be able to imitate Chewbacca).
18. Go zorbing.
19. Graduate from college
20. Start a blog.
21. Be in giant food fight.
22. Do Karaoke all by myself, in front of a lot of people.
23. Go to the Hillsong United Church.
24. Live a life of love.
25. Sleep outside under the stars. √
26. Dance for 24 hours
27. Go on a vacation to Fiji.
28. Try every flavor of jelly belly beans.
29. Buy an entire meal with money found on the streets.
30. Go to a star Wars convention.
31. Visit every playground in Rochester NY
32. Cook an egg on the pavement.

Now as I'm sitting here typing, I've realized that for any of you who might actually read this I should inform you that every post will not be as pointless as this one. Sometimes God places things on my heart, or I have thoughts that I feel led to share, or maybe I just need to write things down. Therefore, every once and awhile I'm going to jump back onto this thing, and write something in hopes that it might encourage you, or even get you to think.
....Welllll thats about it.

  1. Rachel, I love you. I'm so thankful that we're friends and hope that we grow even closer these next few years. You're a beautiful woman of God and are such a great example not only to myself, but to tons of other girls on campus. I'm glad that God put a friend like you in my life to look up to! He's got such amazing plans for you and I can't wait to see what that entails! I'm coming over to your room right now...bahaha...that sounds creepy. Cute blog=)
